Great things never came from comfort Zones

Do you know what? I've wanted to write a blog for quite a while but something always stopped me. You know how life can be, relentlessly busy, even when sequestered away at home during a pandemic. Strangely, I've found time to concentrate on things I might not usually. Along with some pieces of original fiction, there are some projects in the pipeline such as a co-written novel with a good friend. There will be more to follow about those projects as we move along.

Trying to figure out my niche is my current quest, I write, but how do you figure out how to make a living at such a thing? Many authors I've met say become a published author if you want your love for the craft all but destroyed, is this the case I wonder? All I do know is that I have an ability and a need to figure out what makes me, a 40 plus individual, marketable

Of course, there's University and my second year which has proved to be challenging, but who said it was ever going to be easy? The reason I'm there is to get out of my comfort zone and to engage in higher learning. That part has certainly been fruitful and I feel it has been worth the effort, however daunting it was to head back to education after such a long break.

In amongst my Uni work I intend to blog a little about being a mature student and post some original fiction, but also let me know what you want to see here, it's your blog as much as mine.

I'm very happy to have you following, please feel free to contact me using the contact me page and share my blog if you're enjoying it, after all, sharing is caring ;)

Until next time!

Warmest regards

Carrie
